- 6 egg whites, at room temperature
- 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cornflour
- 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 120°C and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper. Use a plate or something round to mark a circle in it. Leave it for later.
- Beat: Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar until they make soft peaks. Add the caster sugar one tablespoon at a time. Incorporate the cornflour and vinegar. Continue beating until the sugar is completely dissolved. You have to grab a little between your fingers and feel that you don’t have any sugar residue.
