Description
We were craving for a KFC lunch, so we did some baked fried chicken and a superb coleslaw. We think it ends better than we expected. So try this salad that will be a good side dish to any fried dish because the tanginess will cut the greasy feeling.

- 4 cups of very thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 cup of shredded carrots
- 1 teaspoon of powder onion
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
Instructions
- Cut the cabbage very thinly, the key is to slice it into tiny pieces so you don´t feel the hard pieces. So you have to cut it several times with the knife. If you have a food processor you could do it very fast, otherwise your cutting board and knife. Also, grate the carrot and add to the cut cabbage or cut it thinly with the food processor too. Set aside.
- In a bowl mix the other ingredients (onion powder, sugar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, milk, cream cheese and vinegar) to prepare the dressing. Mix well. Pour over the cabbage mixture and mix well to assure every piece is moist with the dressing. Let it rest for 30 minutes and enjoy it.
