14 Jul Banana oatmeal biscuits
This chewy and delicious biscuit is a great way to use those ripen bananas that you have. Try them, you won´t regret it.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup mashed bananas
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon cornstarch
3 cups oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Prep:
- Preheat the oven at 180ºC. Prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper or spray them with butter.
- In a bowl mix the butter with the sugar and the brown sugar until is creamy. Add the vanilla, egg and mashed bananas. Mix well.
- Add all the dry ingredients: flour, cinnamon, cornstarch, baking soda and oats. Mix well. Finally, add the chocolate chips.
- Put them in the tray with a spoon leaving 2cm between each other. Bake them for approximately 12 minutes or until they are golden brown. Let it rest for a couple a minutes before moving to a cooling rack. Enjoy them!
