22 Sep BBQ Pork Spare RIbs
These are my favourite type of ribs…I feel them so yummy and tasty. Is a really easy rub to put them in for the bbq.
Ingredients:
1 rack of pork spare rib
1 tablespoon five-spice
1 tablespoon ginger
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1/4 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
Preparation:
- Clean the rack from all the fat excess and rip the membrane off.
- In a bowl mix all the other ingredients and sprinkle over the rack and set aside until the bbq is ready.
- Meanwhile, turn on the BBQ and wait to reach medium temperature. In this opportunity, Chris smokes it in the indirect fire with some mesquite chips for a couple of hours and then finalize it in the direct fire to reach the correct temperature.
- This time we enjoy it with some cornbread.
