Our Thoughts:
We have been there twice so we have try different kinds of plates and we highly recommend it if you are near Fortitude Valley and want to try something around Chinatown. If you see from outside will appear nothing special, but as soon as you get inside you will smell all this amazing flavour that water your mouth and want to order everything. They have a very wide variety of dishes so study well and choose whatever you are more fans off, the ones that we tried were the following:
- Steamed ShanghaiDumplings
- Mini Spring Rolls
- Salt and Pepper Calamari
- Special Fried Rice
- Roast Pork
- Braised Pork Belly with Taro
- Sizzling Garlic King Prawns
- Hokkien Fried Noodles
- Hokkien Fried Rice
If we have to choose again we will omit the special fried rice and get only the hokkien fried rice (we tried the second time) and it becomes our favourite fried rice, so different but so rich in flavours.
We will prefer the roast pork instead of the braised one, don’t get me wrong the braised one was full of flavour but we didn’t like the texture of the taro (first time we tried) and is not a favourite, but if it not the case with you try it because the flavour was really good.
We will definitely go another time to keep trying new plates.
