08 Sep Fried Rice
We love to do this dish because is very quick to prepare but full of flavour and is a great way to use your rice leftovers. The key for great fried rice is to have an already cooked rice in the morning or better the day after. This time we did it with pork and shrimps but you could add other protein or just veggies, that is the beauty of the fried rice you can add what you want.
Ingredients:
2 cups of cooked rice
250 grams of kasseler pork (smoked)
250 grams of peeled shrimp tails
3 eggs
3 green onions.
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon of minced ginger
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon oil
3 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
salt
Prep:
- Drizzle the shrimp with salt. Cut the pork into cubes and set aside.
- Cut the green part of the green onions into thin slices. Cut the white part into tiny cubes. Set aside both.
- Preheat a wok over hi heat. Pour some oil and fry the shrimps until they are cook and set aside. Fry the pork and set aside.
- Pour some more oil and the sesame oil and fry the white part of the green onion, garlic and ginger. Add the rice and mix together. Add the soy sauce and mix well. Put the rice into the walls and pour the eggs in the middle, let them cook for a minutes before stirring, so you will have some egg pieces mix into the rice. Bring the pork, shrimps and green onions. Check if the soy sauce is OK or you need more, depends on your taste. Serve as soon as you finish and enjoy it.
