01 Feb Hazelnuts Crescents
I love to make this hazelnut crescents because is the kind of cookie that melts in your mouth and has the plus to be very delicious. They are a perfect pair for a coffee.
Ingredients:
1 cup of ground hazelnuts
200 grams of butter
2/3 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of flour
Prep:
- Preheat the oven at 180ºC. Prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a food processor ground the hazelnuts, then add the flour, sugar and process it. Add the vanilla and cold butter in cubes. Process until it is the same texture dough.
- Scoop the dough with a tablespoon, so you have the same amount of dough. Then form a crescent with your hand and put it on the tray. Bake the crescents for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Change the trays at half time, so they cook evenly.
- Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
