Nutty Biscuits

If you want a really easy and tasty treat just try this recipe. This time I did it with some nutty spread that I have at home, but you could do it with peanut butter, almond butter, etc. They will be a crowd-pleaser. 

Ingredients:

6 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup nutty butter

1 egg

2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Prep:

  1. Preheat the oven at 190ºC. Lined to baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside for further use. 
  2. Cream the butter with the brown sugar, sugar and salt. Add the nutty spread, eggs and vanilla. Stir well.
  3. Add flour and baking soda to the mix. Combined them well. 
  4. Make 1 tablespoon balls and space them thru the baking sheet. Press the ball with a fork doing a hashtag.
  5. Bake them for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden. Let the biscuits cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and enjoy them with a nice cup of coffee or tea.
