01 May Nutty Biscuits
If you want a really easy and tasty treat just try this recipe. This time I did it with some nutty spread that I have at home, but you could do it with peanut butter, almond butter, etc. They will be a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
6 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup nutty butter
1 egg
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Prep:
- Preheat the oven at 190ºC. Lined to baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside for further use.
- Cream the butter with the brown sugar, sugar and salt. Add the nutty spread, eggs and vanilla. Stir well.
- Add flour and baking soda to the mix. Combined them well.
- Make 1 tablespoon balls and space them thru the baking sheet. Press the ball with a fork doing a hashtag.
- Bake them for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden. Let the biscuits cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and enjoy them with a nice cup of coffee or tea.
