19 Apr Spaguetti alla Putanesca
Really good dish if you like some spice or strong flavour into your pasta. Also is a very quick dish to prepare and amaze your love ones.
Ingredients:
300 grams of spaghetti
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3-4 chopped anchovy fillets (depend on the size)
400 grams can of diced tomatoes
1/3 cup kalamata olives
2 tablespoon capers
1/2 teaspoon chilli pepper flakes
Salt and Pepper
Parmesan cheese to garnish
Prep:
- Prepare all your ingredients for use. Chopped the anchovy fillets. Cut the kalamata olives into thin slices and measure all the other ingredients.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot with water to boil.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat pour the olive oil. Put the minced garlic and fry it for 30 seconds. Add the anchovies and cook them for one minute stirring well. Incorporate the tomatoes, capers, olives and chilli peppers. Let it simmer for 15 minutes. Taste the salt and pepper.
- Meantime, in the boiling water add some salt and cook the spaghetti as the directions. As soon they are al dente toss them into the sauce and serve immediately. Garnish with some parmesan cheese and enjoy!
