Have you ever woke up on the 25th of December and don’t know what to have for breakfast because you already plan the Christmas eve dinner and Christmas lunch but nothing for breakfast.
We needed to have some recipes on the blog with a Christmasy flavour, so we twisted these pancakes with some spices. As soon as you start cooking, I assure you that you will be in a Holiday mood with all the spice smells.
I tasted them with my family, and they were a crowd-pleaser, so If you have little ones in your family, this will be a hit with them.

Description
The perfect recipe for Christmas morning is a fluffy pancake with a touch of Spices.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves powder
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 rotten bananas, mashed.
Instructions
- Mashed the bananas and set them aside.
- In a bowl, measure the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon powder, cloves powder and mix very well. Add the liquids ingredients: egg, oil, milk and vanilla and mix everything together. Finally, add the mashed bananas.
- Preheat a pancake pan at low heat. Pour the mixture with a tablespoon (a couple) or a 1/4 cup. Let it cook until it starts bringing some bubbles to the surface and flipping it on to cook the other side. Set aside the cooked pancake and continue doing the same procedure until you finish with all the pancake mixture.
- Serve them with your favourite fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.
