04 Jun Steamed Fish
We love this dish because is very quick to do and healthy but with a lot of flavours. We assure you that if you try you will love it. So give it an opportunity and let us know what you think. In Peru we named this dish “Pescado Sudado” that means “Sweety Fish”..lol
Ingredients:
2 fish fillets
1 onion
2 tomatoes
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1/2 glass of white wine
1 lime juice
1 sprig of coriander
1 teaspoon of oil
salt and pepper
Prep:
- Clean your fish fillets and salt pepper them. Set aside.
- Prepare the other ingredients by cutting the onion and tomatoes in thin round slices. Chop the coriander sprig into small pieces.
- In a medium heat stove heat the oil in a pan that has a lid (we will need the lid later). Cook the onions and the garlic for a minute. Form a layer with the onions and put the tomatoes over making another layer. Salt and pepper them. Accommodate the two fish fillets over the tomatoes. Pour the wine and lime juice over. Sprinkle with some of the coriander and cover the pot with the lid. Let them cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the fish is cook.
- Serve the fish with some white rice so you could drizzle with the juices. Sprinkle the fish with the remaining coriander and enjoy.
