17 Mar Bacon and Onion Quiche
I love to bake quiche just as a main dish with a salad on the side or to have for an appetizer when we have some friends over. Is also a good option for a picnic outside.
You can use pre-made dough or do it by yourself with the recipe that we have on the blog.
We hope you like it and try it 🙂
Ingredients:
1 quiche crust
4 onions
250 grams of bacon
2 tablespoon butter
1 cup cream
3 eggs
1/2 cup parmesan
Salt and pepper
Prep:
- Preheat the oven to 180 C and bake the dough for 20 minutes. I bake it with some parchment paper over and ceramic weights. at the end of 20 mins put the parchment paper and weight off.
- Meanwhile cut the onion into small squares and the bacon in the same size.
- In a pan over medium heat put the butter to melt and fry the onion till they are golden brown. Add the bacon and fry them till they are golden too.
- Beat the eggs to break them thru and add the cream. Add the onions, bacon, parmesan cheese and taste to add some salt and pepper. Pour it over the pre-baked dough.
- Bake the quiche for 30 minutes and enjoy it.
