23 Mar Five-Spice Steak and Broccoli Stir-fry
I love to make stir-fry dinner, they are so quick and tasty and you could feed more people in a short time.
Ingredients:
225 grams rump steak
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
2 tablespoon sesame oil
150 grams broccoli florets
1 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1/2 cup of hot water
2 teaspoon cornflour dissolve in 1 teaspoon of cold water
100 grams of cashews
Prep:
- Cut the steak into strips and rub them with the garlic, ginger and five-spice.
- Heat the wok and pour 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and stir-fry the broccoli for 7-8 minutes until they are tender. Set aside.
- Pour the remaining oil into the wok and stir-fry the steak for 2 minutes.
- Add the broccoli, soy sauce, hot water and season with a little salt and let simmer.
- Dissolve the cornflour with 1 teaspoon of water and pour into the mixture stirring constantly to avoid lumps and let the sauce thickened. Add the cashews at the end.
- Serve immediately with white rice. Enjoy!
