Five-Spice Steak and Broccoli Stir-fry

I love to make stir-fry dinner, they are so quick and tasty and you could feed more people in a short time. 

Ingredients:

225 grams rump steak

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder

2 tablespoon sesame oil

150 grams broccoli florets

1 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce

1/2 cup of hot water

2 teaspoon cornflour dissolve in 1 teaspoon of cold water

100 grams of cashews

Prep:

  1. Cut the steak into strips and rub them with the garlic, ginger and five-spice.
  2. Heat the wok and pour 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and stir-fry the broccoli for 7-8 minutes until they are tender. Set aside. 
  3. Pour the remaining oil into the wok and stir-fry the steak for 2 minutes. 
  4. Add the broccoli, soy sauce, hot water and season with a little salt and let simmer. 
  5. Dissolve the cornflour with 1 teaspoon of water and pour into the mixture stirring constantly to avoid lumps and let the sauce thickened. Add the cashews at the end.
  6.  Serve immediately with white rice. Enjoy!
