29 Apr Sweet Red Bean Paste
This is a perfect recipe to turn your bao buns into a dessert, just fill it with this paste or just eat it by itself for a sugar treat.
Ingredients
1 can of red beans (400 grams)
3 cups of brown sugar
4 cloves
1 1/2 evaporated milk
Prep:
- Drain the can of red beans and blend them to get a homogeneous bean paste.
- Pour the bean paste in a pan and add the brown sugar and cloves, mix it well and keep stirring while cooking over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes or until you could see the bottom of the pan when you move the preparation with the spoon.
- Add the evaporated milk to the mixture and cook for another 10 minutes. Let it rest for 15 minutes and serve. Enjoy!
